2月10日，彗星大神Michael Jäger拍的12P/Pons-Brooks彗星，亦称作“恶魔彗星”。它首次由Jean-Louis Pons在1812年发现，后在1883年由William Robert Brooks再次独立发现。这颗彗星绕太阳公转一周大约需71.3年，曾有1385年和1457年观测到这颗彗星的历史记录，有可能它的观测历史甚至可以追溯到公元245年。
