JUST IN: The suspect who tried to ass*ssinate Donald Trump made a donation to Democrat-aligned ActBlue on Biden's inauguration day.

20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks was a registered Republican.

His father, who spoke with CNN, says he is trying to find out "what the h*ll is going on" and is going to "wait until I talk to law enforcement" to say more.

A former classmate said: "He didn’t seem like really weird or anything. I would have pegged him as a Republican."

"He was more of a loner. He probably had a friend group, but not many friends," they added.

Crooks was wearing a shirt from Demolition Ranch, a gun YouTube channel.
