8月27日央视报道，中国空军出动两架直升机在吉隆口岸泥石流灾害现场上空展开搜索。对比央视航拍画面和吉隆口岸2025年7月影像资料，可见吉隆河谷沿岸道路和建筑几乎完全消失，只剩下海关大楼主体建筑依稀可辨。出海关到尼泊尔方向的跨河大桥已被冲毁，只残留部分桥墩。
