The EU will announce the largest military aid package for Ukraine, probably next week: about EUR 700 billion. "We will launch a large package that has never been seen on this scale before," German Foreign Minister Annalena @ABaerbock Baerbock said, comparing it to the response to the coronavirus crisis and calling it "the financial package for security in Europe."
Dovilė @DSakaliene Šakalienė, Defense Minister of Lithuania, added: "We need to spend quickly on defense, and a lot, hundreds of billions need to be spent immediately. We will all have to act quickly, including Germany."
