Democrats in cities like San Francisco, D.C., and New York have been pushing to give noncitizens the right to vote in local elections, arguing they should have a say in schools and city policies.
Democrats deny what they were trying to do, but their goal was crystal clear from the beginning.
Fortunately, Americans are fighting back.
New York’s noncitizen voting law was struck down as unconstitutional, and 15 states have now explicitly banned the practice.
In 2024 alone, eight more states passed ballot measures to block it.
Trump and Republicans have made it clear: Voting is for U.S. citizens only—and states are making sure that stays the law.

The way Dems have handled Elon’s presence and work at DOGE has probably sealed my fate as a 3rd party or GOP voter indefinitely. I can’t imagine voting for a democrat after how I’ve seen them behave this year.
