The proposed move would turn OpenAI’s capped-profit setup into a public benefit corporation, potentially opening the door to uncapped profits, diminished public accountability, and shareholder-first governance.

Now they’re calling on state attorneys general to intervene before AGI becomes just another Wall Street asset.
