The US trade deficit is getting even wider:
The goods trade deficit jumped $14 billion month-over-month to a record $162 BILLION in March.
The shortfall exceeded expectations by a massive $17 billion.
Imports rose 5% to $343 billion, led by consumer goods imports that skyrocketed 28%, to a record $103 billion.
This comes as companies continued to front-run tariffs.
Meanwhile, exports increased 1% to $181 billion.
