So Israelis belong in hell or "Jahannam", and Gaza should be nuked 💔 how much longer can our two peoples go on like this? What will it take to break the vicious cycle of hatred, incitement, violence, revenge, rinse & repeat? How many more lives lost would it take to do this differently between the Palestinians and Israelis? We have to forge a new path forward starting with respectful engagement/exchange/dialogue while maintaining our shared & mutual humanity. Individuals have a huge role to play in building bridges across our differences - that's not some idealistic talking point but is an absolute necessity that is entirely attainable and within grasp. Just try it: discuss, don't debate; seek common ground, not disagreements; build allyship, not enmity; be forward looking and a future visionary, not a past dweller or a score settler. And for goodness sake, just stop the incendiary & violent rhetoric and slogans.

I spoke at a pro-peace vigil in San Francisco where people from diverse backgrounds, including Israelis, Palestinians & Arabs shared their perspectives & grievances. The goal was to listen to one another & seek common ground across our disagreements to promote a new path forward.
