The Colossal Statue of Amenhotep III and his Queen Tiye. New Kingdom, 18th dynasty (1391-1353 BC).

Looking at the statue, Amenhotep III wears the Nemes headdress with the royal cobra, a false beard and a kilt, resting his his both hands on his knees. By the left is Queen Tiye sitting beside him with her right arm placed around her husband's waist. She wears an ankle-lenght, close-fitting dress and a big wig with a vulture headdress.

Originally stood in Medinet Habu, Thebes. Currently, in the Egyptian Museum in Cairo. JE 33906.
