I later discovered that Amanullah supported a disinformation website—@loonwatchers https://t.co/5GBC0J4hv8—started on April Fool’s Day 2009 by @CAIRNational officials, including its Chicago executive director @Ahmed_Rehab. They had created the site to smear Israel, Jews, Muslim reformers and the West.

Yes, a State Department official—Amanullah—was supporting this disinformation campaign. So too were @WajahatAli and @DrJavadTHashmi, groomed as keyboard warriors at @UCBerkeley by the Hate’em @HatemBazian, founder of @NationalSJP and American Muslims for Palestine, now on the streets with hate.

I knew it then. President Obama empowered these Islamist organizations to do their dance, denying Islamic extremism; President Bush did too. And now we have the mess that we’ve got.
