📢 Opening of my new exhibition "This Shoe Was Not Red"

I’m excited to invite you to the opening of my exhibition, This Shoe Was Not Red, which will take place on Friday, November 22, at 6:00 PM at the New Wing of the City Museum in Rimini @museirimini. I’ll be there to share the stories and journey behind the over 100 works on display, created between 2014 and 2024.

This exhibition represents my commitment to highlighting the overlooked stories and denied rights of the Palestinian people. Among the works, you will find the Ceasefire Now collection, a visual call for a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip; illustrations documenting protests at Columbia University in New York; and a striking gallery of portraits dedicated to Palestinian journalists killed since October 7, 2023. I’ll also be presenting Issa, the Words of Nonviolent Resistance @Issaamro, a piece developed in collaboration with journalist @mannocchia .

The exhibition is part of the Voices for Gaza series, featuring meetings, readings, and music to promote peace and human rights. It is organized by EducAid with the support of the Emilia-Romagna Region @RegioneER and numerous local partners.
