Sen. Ernst is demanding answers after reports surfaced that Dr. Fauci’s NIAID approved a $1.8 million contractfor new dog experiments.
Previous tests under Fauci’s watch allegedly involved cutting vocal cords, infesting dogs with ticks, and exposing them to infectious sandflies.
Ernst is calling for full transparency on the experiments, taxpayer costs, and why non-animal testing alternatives weren’t considered.
