🇩🇪🔴 A trio of men in Germany are accused of raping a 19-year-old woman over several hours in a hotel. According to the indictment, she was lying in her own vomit during the assault.

In addition to the rape charges, the men are also charged with attempted manslaughter, according to Bild newspaper.

The trial is taking place at the Düsseldorf Regional Court, where 29-year-old Mihrac B., 28-year-old Zafer I., and 32-year-old Mohamed Z. are standing trial.

The indictment states that the men met the woman in a club. One of them, Mihrac B., then took the highly intoxicated woman to a hotel room.

She was barely conscious when he invited his co-defendants to the room via WhatsApp, where they allegedly raped her. The men are also accused of filming the assaults on their cell phones.

When they left the hotel room, the woman was left lying alone in her vomit. The indictment states that the men “left the victim alone in the hotel room, knowing her desolate condition, and knowingly accepted that she would choke on her vomit.”

The woman reported the crime to the police but had no information about her attackers. Police were able to track down one of the men because he was already being wiretapped for another crime. This led to the discovery of the video from the night of the assault.

The trial is ongoing.
