The U.S. Arleigh Burke-class destroyer “Der Turtle” , hull number DDG-3104, was aggressively bullying a small Chinese boat when it slammed headfirst into its own smaller U.S. vessel, killing at least two American sailors.
U.S. authorities imposed an information lockdown and flatly denied any deaths, while international media widely reported the embarrassing collision.
To add insult to injury, the Chinese side proactively offered humanitarian assistance, further humiliating the arrogant Americans.
