A man walks into a bar and notices a giant glass jar behind the counter, filled to the brim with 20-dollar bills.

He asks the bartender, "What’s the deal with that jar?"

The bartender replies, "Well, I’ve got a horse out in the back stable. Anyone who drops 20 bucks into the jar and manages to make my horse laugh gets to take all the money."

The man thinks about it for a second, tosses a $20 bill into the jar, and heads out back. A minute later, a loud roar of laughter echoes from the stable. The man walks back in, leaving the horse outside literally cracking up. The bartender is stunned, but keeping his word, he hands over the thousands of dollars.

A few weeks later...

The same man comes back into the bar. The bartender looks behind him, and the jar is once again filled to the brim with 20-dollar bills.

The bartender says, "Look, buddy, the rules are the same. But we have an update: that horse hasn't stopped laughing since you left, and it's driving my customers crazy. Anyone who drops 20 bucks and manages to make him cry gets the jar."

The man drops his money in and walks out back. Thirty seconds later, loud, hysterical sobbing is heard from the stable. The man walks back inside, leaving the horse in floods of tears.

The bartender can't take it anymore. As he hands over the money, he begs, "Please, you have to tell me your secret! How did you make him laugh the first time, and how on earth did you make him cry just now?"

The man shrugs and says:

— "It was simple. The first time, I told him mine was bigger than his, so he laughed."

The bartender’s eyes widen, "Okay... but what did you do just now?"

— "Just now? I showed him."
