Deep down, most (good) people want to feel like their job has meaning and purpose.

They've been spinning their wheels in bureaucracy for years, seeing:

bosses doing nothing
complacent colleagues enjoying no-show jobs
merit and accountability disregarded
promotions denied in favor of DEI
corruption and incompetence across the board

It's a breath of fresh air to the good guys... of which, there are quite a few.
