“It would be wonderful for the United States to have a national set of rules for autonomous driving as opposed to 50 independent sets of rules on a state-by-state basis.

So, hopefully that's something that could be achieved. If you drive from Maine to New York and go through 10 different rule sets, the car's going to behave differently as you cross state borders.

We think that autonomous driving will reduce distraction access by a factor of 10 and ultimately save millions of lives.”
