Apparently “the residents of Tehran will pay the price” for Iran’s targeting of Israeli civilian areas.
This is an incredibly idiotic position to take and will undermine all of Israel's objectives in this war. The Iranian people are broadly aligned with Israel in that they want to see an end to the brutal Islamic Republic regime. What they don't appreciate, is becoming collateral damage. Israel should do everything in its power to avoid any civilian casualties and keep the Iranian people, who are after all the biggest victims of this regime, out of the crosshairs.
