This person, former CCTV reporter Wang Zhi’an, says he believes Deng Haiyan’s comments on Charlie Kirk’s assassination fall under “normal discussion” and that Deng should not be reported.
Like Deng, Wang consistently sides with the CCP on major issues. He has been banned by the Taiwanese government from entering Taiwan due to involvement in improper activities during the last Taiwan election.
I am certain that Wang is part of the CCP’s transnational crackdown efforts against genuine anti-CCP individuals and organizations, although he sometimes pretends to criticize the Chinese government on minor issues.
Since Wang Zhi’an has previously expressed his wish to obtain a U.S. visa (he currently lives in Japan and has said he hopes to gain citizenship through marrying a Japanese woman), I believe he should be “pre-banned” from entering the United States, given his public support for Deng Haiyan’s attacks on Charlie Kirk.
