He recalled that these flags appeared as a symbol of solidarity with the state that Russia attacked.
Pavel stressed that there is no reason to change this approach: “Ukraine is still the object of Russian aggression, and until there is a peace agreement, our solidarity must not weaken.”
At the same time, he stressed that any steps to curtail aid to Ukraine would be much more harmful. In his opinion, changing the position on material, financial or military support would have direct consequences — more deaths, injuries and destruction.
