Organized by Chabad of Bondi, it welcomed all ages and was held near the children’s playground.
Thousands attended, with their children, friends, or grandparents.
But that didn’t stop the terrorists. They didn’t care that children, the elderly, or non-Jews were present.
They saw an opportunity to kill as many Jews as possible. And they took it.
For two years, Australian Jews warned this could happen, and now the tragedy has proven their fears were real.
