That line is not strength. It is evasion.

Ancient dynasties surviving on subsistence farming have nothing to do with a modern state whose growth depends on export markets, foreign capital, imported energy, and global logistics it does not control.

The 5000 year claim exists for one reason only. To distract from the fact that today’s China rose inside a US led system and now wants immunity from the rules of that same system.

When pressure appears, the message changes. Suddenly history replaces economics. Civilization replaces numbers. Pride replaces balance sheets.

“The world is big enough” is not cooperation. It is what you say when you want access without accountability.

This is not resilience. It is narrative retreat.
