My Statement
Since I lawfully filed a lawsuit in Japan, the defendant, Wang Zhian, has not ceased his harmful remarks after the case entered judicial proceedings. Mockery regarding my visual impairment, insinuations, and suggestive comments have continued and have repeatedly incited extreme emotions on social media platforms.
More seriously, he publicly released my home address and that of my family. This constitutes ongoing harassment and has caused me and my family to live in continuous fear and anxiety.
On February 20, 2026 (Tokyo time), my Japanese counsel formally sent a lawyer’s letter to him through his attorney, clearly requiring that during the litigation he cease all further harmful acts, including but not limited to ongoing personal attacks and statements posing risks to the safety of me and my family.
The litigation is ongoing. Any attempt to influence the case through public opinion pressure or real-world threats affecting a party’s life and safety shows disrespect for judicial order.
Regarding the disclosure of my home address, this act exceeds the scope of ordinary speech disputes, is suspected of violating relevant U.S. laws, and poses a real risk to the personal safety of me and my family. Against the person involved, I reserve the right to file a lawsuit in the United States and to take further legal action.
I have always insisted on resolving disputes through legal means. Facts should be clarified in court, and responsibility should be determined by the judge according to the law.
At the same time, I solemnly call on the public that any discussion should not violate the law. Legal procedures are advancing. I will protect my family’s safety and safeguard my lawful rights in accordance with the law. I will show no leniency to wrongdoers.
