On April 15, a mainland Chinese netizen took a shocking photo at a funeral home. The deceased were all young people aged 24 to 30 (see Table 1 in the image and its English translation). Moreover, most of the remarks noted “No ashes wanted”!
Another netizen posted photos (in the comment section) from a different funeral home, showing that among dozens of deceased, there was only one 98-year-old. The rest were aged 20–70, with the largest number being people aged 30–50.
