Ms. You (尤小姐) recently gave an interview to commentator Li Weikang. She said she was almost the last passenger to board but learned from the cabin crew that about four people had not yet boarded.
“I thought it was already so late and they hadn’t boarded yet, so I returned to my seat. It was nearly 2 a.m. … While I was resting, I saw Ms. Li (the troublemaker) hurriedly sit down. I assumed she was anxious because her friend hadn’t boarded the plane.”
“As soon as she sat down, she started sending WeChat voice messages non-stop. I politely reminded her to speak more softly. She replied, ‘Okay,’ and I went back to resting.”
Ms. You said that the second time she reminded her, the plane was already taxiing. The woman’s loud voice meant she couldn’t hear the captain’s announcement, so she asked Ms. Li to stop talking on the phone immediately.
“Without saying a word, she started scolding me loudly: ‘What’s wrong with me talking on the phone?! Even if I’m on the phone, the signal will naturally drop during the flight anyway!’”

Ms. You said that when the woman saw the photo, she immediately flew into a rage and demanded that she delete it right away, claiming it violated her portrait rights.

“When the flight attendant arrived, she was still unhappy and insisted they must speak Chinese.
Then a supervisor who could speak Chinese came and warned her to stop, otherwise she would be removed from the plane.”
“But she refused, saying that I should be the one taken off the plane. The crew supervisor made a direct decision… In the end, the plane returned to the gate and the police were called to remove her.”
