Royal insignia and symbols in ancient Egypt -

We always see statues of kings and others carrying different scepters that have a certain sanctity and symbolize honor, prestige, pride and strength. Let's get to know them

"Nakhkh"
The "Nakhkh" scepter was one of the symbols of the god Osiris. It resembled a flail and consisted of a hand hanging from its upper end, three pendants resembling the falling rays of the sun. It symbolized the king's protection of the people from enemies.

"Haka"
And Osiris was holding the flail in his right hand, intersected with the scepter of the "Haka", and this scepter is a symbol of the rule and the king's control over his subjects and his care for them, and its origin is the shepherd's stick with which he collects stray cattle.

The two scepters, "al-Hakah and Nakhkh", became symbols of the deceased kings when they united with Osiris. They were mostly made of wood covered with gold foil and inlaid with semi-precious stones, colored glass, or ceramics.

"Scepter Wass"
It resembles a stick, and it was a symbol of prosperity that the lords bestow upon kings. Above it is the head of an animal resembling a jackal, and its bottom is shaped like a thorn.

As for the scepter of Abba, which was mixed with both the scepter "Kharb" and "Sakhm" that was ruined and sloppy, it is a short scepter that represents one of the symbols of power and leadership, held by senior civil and military men of the state, to indicate the height of their status.
