I met with a bipartisan delegation of the U.S. Senate on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference. I am grateful for the bipartisan support Ukraine has received since the very beginning of the full-scale invasion, and for the contributions made to protect thousands of lives.
We discussed continued military support for Ukraine and the efforts needed to achieve a just peace. The Russian Federation does not want to end the war and continues to escalate global tensions. That is why U.S. military support is crucial for Ukraine. Only in this way can we achieve a just and lasting peace.
We also talked about the partnership between Ukraine and the United States, including joint projects, economic cooperation, and the joint development of critical minerals and rare earth resources.
