A Ukrainian woman named Alina living in Huizhou, Guangdong, recently bought 9 bottles of Zhangguang 101 anti-hair loss hair tonic on Pinduoduo.
After receiving the goods, she discovered there were no anti-counterfeit codes on the bottles — clear fakes. She returned them and shipped the package back.
The seller refused to accept the return and instead sent her these WeChat insults:
“I hope Russia wipes you all out soon, you scum. You poor piece of trash, you filthy wench. Are you trying to make me report you? Get you deported back to your country to be killed by Russia again, you c***-loving thing.”
This is the reality many foreigners face in China when dealing with local sellers: counterfeit products + extreme hatred.
Pinduoduo and Chinese platforms keep enabling this.
