I’m really appalled by Taiwanese Pan-green social media’s reaction to the Nepal flooding. I actually considered not posting those because people are so nasty.
One slight mitigating factor is there was also fake news being spread in Taiwan about how China was responsible for not warning Nepal about the imminent flash floods which doesn’t even make sense because the floods started on the Nepal side of the border.
But still…I feel like the very hardcore Taiwanese pro-independence ppl are so Sinophobic they’ve lost their humanity. Especially since Taiwan is also prone to natural disasters.
